Make Any Restaurant “Diabetes-Friendly”

While the world is, indeed, full of foods that do not mix all that well with diabetes management, there are many things you can do to create a great meal at any restaurant. I say this because with both type 1 diabetes and celiac disease, my options appear to be pretty limited, but I guarantee you when I enter a restaurant, I can create a great meal anywhere (well, anywhere that serves real whole food, which automatically eliminates any fast food restaurant).
